We provide complete transportation services for hazardous and non-hazardous wastes throughout Michigan, Northern Ohio, and Northern Indiana as well as complete disposal and recycling of non-hazardous waste oil, and wastewater at our Ferndale, Michigan facility. Polar is fully certified to evaluate, remove, transport, and dispose of all wastewaters and waste fluids generated. Operating for over 50 years, Polar has the on-site capacity to store and treat approximately 1.5 million gallons of non-hazardous waste oil and/or wastewater and has the expertise and equipment to comply with federal and state environmental regulations. Polar is fully qualified and has a team of experts that will work directly with your environmental and/or facility manager to ensure full regulatory compliance. Services can be provided on a regular basis or can be contracted as needed.
Polar is licensed to transport hazardous waste and will arrange for its effective removal and disposal. Also, Polar provides a wide range of analytical and consulting services for waste characterization, on-site inspections, sample collections, laboratory testing and remediation. Independent and confidential consulting is provided on a variety of environmental topics related to waste treatment and disposal. Our fleet of vehicles includes state-of-the-art high pressure vacuum trucks and tank trailers equipped to handle up to 6,000 gallons per load and conventional tank trailers capable of handling up to 12,000 gallons. Box vans are available to transport as many as eighty 55 gallon drums of waste. Our highly skilled drivers are fully trained for pick-up and control of a wide variety of industrial wastes and the expediting department can provide regular daily pick-ups or arrange weekly or monthly service. To meet emergencies, Polar is avaialble 24/7 to help expedite the proper solution to most industrial waste problems.
